Prelude to War (War Activities Committee, 1943). Academy Award One Sheet (27" X 41"). War Documentary. Narrated by Walter Huston and Anthony Veiller. Directed by Frank Capra and Anatole Litvak. This one sheet has a number of pinholes, some enlarged, and light edge wear with minor bumps and tears. There are cross fold separations, and the center one is supported by magic tape on the reverse which has generated a tape stain. Light fold wear with some soft creasing around the vertical. Scattered light soiling. This was the first in the "Why We Fight" series of informational and motivational films shown to both soldiers and civilians during WWII. This printing came after the film was awarded the Oscar for Best Documentary. Fine/Very Fine.
