Description

Follow the Fleet (RKO, R-1953). Lobby Card (11" X 14"). When the fleet puts in at San Francisco, sailor Bake Baker (Fred Astaire) tries to rekindle the flame with his old dancing partner, Sherry Martin (Ginger Rogers), while Bake's buddy Bilge Smith (Randolph Scott) romances Sherry's sister Connie (Harriet Hilliard, who became Mrs. Ozzie Nelson, mother of Ricky and David). Lucille Ball and Betty Grable also have small parts in this musical comedy. This great card featuring Astaire and Scott has some minor card dings, and at some point in its life, someone stepped on it while wearing a pair of size-10 work boots. The resulting soiling would be easy to clean, and doesn't spoil the card's inherent charm. Fine/Very Fine.
