Alien (20th Century Fox, 1979). One Sheet (27" X 41"). A close encounter of the third kind becomes an exercise in terror of the first kind. An alien invades a spacecraft and stalks the crew in Ridley Scott's genre-bending, sci-fi/horror classic. The film influenced countless future blockbusters, most notably the "Friday the 13th" classic in which Jason kills off the crew of a space station (an exercise in terror of the 187th kind). Fans' first glimpse into the work of alien designer H.R. Giger has resulted in countless nightmares, and this poster won't help anyone sleep soundly. The iconic art includes the even better-remembered tagline, "In space, no one can hear you scream." Other than pervasive wrinkling, this one sheet has maintained excellent condition. Very Fine+.
