Acclaimed artist John Falter joined the Navy in 1943, serving as a lieutenant on special assignment, where he created over 300 posters to support the war effort. The featured poster, issued by the Office of War Information, warns citizens to be cautious with their words, emphasizing the importance of discretion during wartime. An unrestored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as edge and fold wear, faint toning, tape residue staining on the verso accompanied by foxing, creasing, and unobtrusive smudging.
