Lillian Russell (20th Century Fox, 1940). Insert (14" X 36").
This highly fictionalized version of the life of the great stage performer Lillian Russell is given a boost of star power by Alice Faye in the title role. The lovely insert format, with its full-length pose of the star, is perhaps the best poster for the title. Fox musicals fans won't want to miss this one! There was surface paper loss on the verso throughout the poster, and a top right corner chip, but the piece has been paperbacked and now displays very well. Fine on Paper.
