Roman Holiday (Paramount, 1953). Italian Photobusta (19" X 27).
Originally intended to be a Frank Capra film starring Cary Grant and Elizabeth Taylor, this delightful comedy went through the hands of George Stevens before landing in the lap of William Wyler. Other actresses considered included Jean Simmons and Suzanne Cloutier, but a legendary screen test ended up being the factor that earned newcomer Audrey Hepburn the starring role. It was the correct casting, as Hepburn went on to win the Oscar for Best Actress. Hepburn sparkles on this rare Italian poster, only the second Heritage has presented. Touchup to the folds, pinholes in the corners, and there is a tax stamp in the actor credits. Very Fine- on Linen.
