Pennies from Heaven (Columbia, 1936). One Sheet (27" X 41") Style B.
Bing Crosby, on loan from Paramount, croons his way into the life of a family down on their luck. A young Louis Armstrong is cast as a Henry, the hired hand, trumpeter and vocalist of a roadside café. Together these elements were blended for an uplifting Depression Era musical comedy. Seldom seen, this is the colorful one sheet from this early Crosby film. Touchup was applied to the folds, pinholes in the corners, and a small chip at the center crossfold. Very Fine- on Linen.
