Rocketship X-M (Capital Pictures, 1950). Italian 4 - Foglio (53" X 76.5").
One of the more intelligently conceived 1950s sci-fi films, Rocketship X-M stars Lloyd Bridges, Osa Massen and Noah Berry Jr. as astronauts on the first manned space flight to the moon. When they get blown off course by a meteor shower and end up on Mars, the crew discovers a destroyed civilization now reduced to barbarism by the horrors of nuclear war. Showcasing out-of-this-world artwork by Angelo Cessalon, this poster is a must for science fiction collectors. The top section has a chip at the top left, stains in the top border/right background, fold wear, crossfold separations, pinholes in the borders, and a tear with tape on the verso to the left of the top vertical fold in the green background. The bottom section has a tear above the "X-M", tears in the right and bottom border, pinholes in the borders/background, and crossfold separations. Folded, Fine+.
