Guys and Dolls (MGM, 1955). British Quad (30" X 40").
This delightful musical from the Damon Runyon tale was nominated for four Oscars, including one for Best Film Score. It features songs such as "Luck Be a Lady," "I'll Know," and the title song, all written by Frank Loesser. Originally a Broadway hit, the film version was directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz and stars two of the top box office draws at that time, Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra, along with Jean Simmons and Vivian Blaine. This is the first time Heritage has offered a British Quad on this title, which has had professional restoration in the form of touchups to the folds. Unaddressed wear includes a bottom left corner bend, minor border tears, and unobtrusive stains and smudges. There is some light writing bleedthrough in the left border. Very Fine- on Linen.
