The Gentle Cyclone (Fox, 1926). Fine+ on Linen. One Sheet (28.25" X 41").
Never before offered by Heritage, we are proud to present this exceptional one sheet for The Gentle Cyclone, a rare and striking artifact from a long-lost piece of early cinema history. Directed by W.S. Van Dyke and produced by Fox Film Corporation, this American silent Western comedy stars Buck Jones in a rare comedic turn, with a supporting appearance by Oliver Hardy. Only a 38-second trailer survives, as the film itself is now considered lost, making surviving promotional materials like this one especially valuable. Touchup and airbrushing throughout has addressed edge and fold wear, pinholes, creases, fold/crossfold separation, some tears, a few stains, and a few chips further corrected by replacement. Some flaws may remain lightly visible.
