The Hustler (20th Century Fox, R-1964). Rolled, Very Fine+. One Sheet (27" X 41").
In one of his best roles, Paul Newman makes his first appearance as the classic anti-hero, Fast Eddie Felsen, in director Robert Rossen's motion picture about a talented pool hustler who doesn't have the brains to run the game. Comedian Jackie Gleason takes on a dramatic role for once as billiard champ Minnesota Fats, and George C. Scott plays a gambler who takes Eddie under his wing so he can teach him "the big game." Most of the pool shots were performed by Newman and Gleason, with Newman spending countless hours practicing his moves to hold his own against Gleason, who was already a talented player. This eye-catching reissue one sheet features images of "Fast Eddie" with mod billiard and cue stick imagery. In excellent condition, this poster shows only some light fold wear and slight creases.
