Description

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World (United Artists, 1963). Very Fine- on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41.75") Jack Davis Artwork.
A star-studded comedy epic, It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World follows a group of strangers in a wild race across California to uncover a hidden fortune buried beneath "a big W." Directed by Stanley Kramer, the film boasts a legendary ensemble cast, including Spencer Tracy, Milton Berle, Sid Caesar, and Ethel Merman, and is celebrated for its outrageous slapstick and chaotic energy, cementing its place as one of the most ambitious comedies ever made. Offered here is the original release one sheet, featuring dynamic artwork by Jack Davis, the prolific American cartoonist renowned for his distinctive, energetic style and iconic contributions to Mad magazine, movie posters, and advertising. Using his prolific skill, Davis perfectly captures the film's manic spirit. Airbrushing to parts of the folds as well as the upper corners has corrected fold wear, fold separation, and a few stains including tape stains. Davis's artwork remains bold, bright, and beautiful, untouched apart from the poster's linen-backing.
