One of the earliest female stars of the Silent Era, Anita Stewart, stars opposite John S. Robertson in this melodrama directed by Stewart's real life brother-in-law, Ralph Ince. Robertson's claim to fame came not through his acting on screen, but his work off the set as a director for such classics as the 1920 adaptation of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde starring John Barrymore and the 1931 film The Phantom of Paris with John Gilbert. The first of any paper ever sold at Heritage for this title, this bright stone litho poster has had professional restoration address mild chips and tears in the borders and folds, and has applied touchup to the folds. There are replaced sections of paper loss along the right border. Fine+ on Linen.
