Fan favorite Robby the Robot is front and center on this highly sought after half sheet, from one of the most influential science fiction films to come from the 1950s. Leslie Nielsen arrives on a planet to investigate the sudden absence of communications from a colony of scientists. He soon discovers all of the scientists are dead, except for Dr. Morbius (Walter Pidgeon) and his daughter Altaira (Anne Francis). The rest have been killed by a strange monster roaming the planet. Based on Shakespeare's The Tempest, this gem is highly regarded for its outstanding special effects, groundbreaking electronic soundtrack, and a first-rate cast and production values. A must for serious collectors of the genre, the half sheet has had color enhancement throughout. There is some edge wear with small tears, and staple hole in the image. The poster has never been folded, and shows no paper loss. Rolled, Very Good+.
