Emil Jannings stars in lauded director F. W. Murnau's version of Moliere's famous comedy. Murnau energized the centuries-old text by adding a framing story, and lending his usual visual virtuosity to the storytelling. Posters for this expressionistic German film are very rare and this great card is superb, featuring three images of Jannings in the title role. The card has a corner chip in the lower right and has airbrush work to the outer area. Very Fine-.
