One of the biggest silent-era cowboy stars, Hoot Gibson appeared in dozens of Westerns throughout the 1910s and 1920s, becoming a reliable box office draw for early studios. A true cowboy at heart, he started as a rodeo rider in California before catching the attention of major studios like Universal. This stunning poster, with its vivid colors and striking design, stands out as an exceptional piece, featuring an unusually bold graphic for the Western genre. Paper from this film is extremely rare, with Heritage only having offered this poster on two prior occasions. This example has fold wear and splitting along with edge chips which have been addressed by restoration. The linen has been trimmed to the border of the poster.
