Fresh on the heels of his international stardom from Sergio Leone's Man With No Name trilogy, Clint Eastwood elected to star in this hard-edged revisionist western directed by Tom Post, who he had worked with on the Rawhide TV series. Featuring the kind of dramatic artwork characteristic of Italian poster in the period, a vignette of the attempted lynching Eastwood as Jed Cooper survives tops a classic portrait of the star with his signature cheroot clenched in his lips. Folded as issued, the poster exhibits fold wear, corner and edge chips, and edge tears.
