A true gem for Star Wars collectors, the "Birthday Cake" one sheet is among the most coveted posters in the franchise, created to celebrate the film's unprecedented box office success during its first anniversary. Sent exclusively to theaters still screening Star Wars a year after its 1977 debut, this scarce poster, believed to have had a print run of fewer than 1,500, features 11 of the 12 original Kenner action figures (with only the Jawa missing), making it especially appealing to both poster and toy enthusiasts. Serving as both a tribute to the film's extraordinary theatrical run and a clever cross-promotion with the burgeoning toy line, it stands today as a significant and highly collectible piece of cinematic history. Some staining along the borders has been corrected by airbrushing and minor touchup to the interior has addressed light creases. Subtle smudges/scuffs remain minorly visible.
