This evocative one sheet for William Wyler's The Letter captures the alluring danger of Bette Davis in one of her most acclaimed roles, where passion, betrayal, and moral ambiguity collide under the sultry Malayan night. Adapted from W. Somerset Maugham's play, the Warner Bros. classic was praised for its atmospheric cinematography, cementing its place as a quintessential example of noir-inflected melodrama. Featuring two excellent images of Davis, flaws to this one sheet include slight edge and fold wear, creases, many smudges and scuffs, fold/crossfold separation, a couple of small border tears/chips, and some toning.
