Drums Along the Mohawk (20th Century Fox, 1939). Very Good+ on Linen. One Sheet (27.5" X 41").
During the American Revolutionary War, Henry Fonda and Claudette Colbert are a frontier couple whose lives are upended by conflict as they defend their New York Valley homestead against British forces and Native American raids. This was John Ford's first film shot in color! Backed to linen, restoration has addressed splits, separations and some chipping along folds, at the fold junctions and within the borders; as well as some tears going into the image area and pinholes. Some portions of the borders have been painted, the linen has been trimmed close to the edges of the poster and the masa is peeling from the linen at the upper left corner area.
