George Reeves stars as Superman in Superman and the Mole Men, the first-ever feature length film to adapt the DC Comics character. Superman had appeared in serials, cartoons, and radio broadcasts before, but George Reeves' incarnation of The Man of Steel is the portrayal most fondly remembered from the time period. Superman and the Mole Men, an entertaining movie on its own, also served as the impetus for the television series The Adventures of Superman which lasted for six seasons and helped make Superman a household name. Restoration has been done to address fold wear, small tears, bottom left missing corner, and tape stains on the border.
