Hollywood's Three Stooges: First British Personal Appearance (1939). Folded, Fine/Very Fine. Locally Produced British Poster (12.5" X 24").
In June of 1939, the Three Stooges crossed the Atlantic on the Queen Mary ocean liner to appear for live stage performances in four theaters across England, Ireland, and Scotland. There were plans to also tour Europe, but that was cut short by the threat of impending war. This rare poster advertises their appearance at the Palace Theater in Blackpool England starting on June 19th. The poster shows some light chipping at the bottom corners, small edge tears, and fold wear. An extremely rare item.
