Mary Eaton gets top billing over the Marx brothers in this eye-catching Swedish poster for the 1929 musical comedy The Cocoanuts. Posters of any kind are quite rare for this film, and this particular Swedish poster, featuring artwork by Eric Rohman, is being offered here for the first time at Heritage. The film version of The Cocoanuts was adapted from the Broadway musical play of the same name, and five of the film's songs were composed by famed songwriter Irving Berlin. The stone litho poster offered here is in amazing condition, with just a bit of light edge and fold wear, a few minor creases, and pinpoint crossfold separations.
