Alfred Hitchcock is renowned as one of the most influential filmmakers in cinema history, due to his mastery of psychological thrillers, suspense, and visual storytelling. From The Lodger (1926) through his final directorial effort Family Plot (1976), as well his famed television series, he directed numerous classics including Psycho, Rear Window, and the historic Vertigo. This wonderful photo features a bold signature that was sent in 1967 to Steven Vertlieb, who at the time was the publisher and editor of the popular cineaste magazine, L'Incroyable Cinema. Included with this lot is the envelope, originally used to mail the item, and featuring the label for Alfred J. Hitchcock Productions. A rare opportunity for the collector of the filmmaker called the "Master of Suspense." The lot includes an LOA from Beckett.
