Heritage is pleased to present this poster, the only known copy, for the first time. From the MGM series John Nesbitt's Passing Parade. This is a wonderful documentary on the history of American comic strips. This short film features such famous creators of such famous strips as Chester Gould (creator of Dick Tracy), Al Capp (Li'l Abner), Hal Foster (Prince Valiant), Milton Caniff (Terry and the Pirates), Chic Young (Blondie), Harold Gray (Little Orphan Annie), and more, being interviewed and shown at their drawing boards. It even ends with an animated Li'l Abner. The poster features a great array of the many well-known characters. Indications of use include slight fold wear and separations, pinholes, creases, and small tears. Also visible are a few minute chips and faint image ghosting.
