Atom Man vs. Superman is one of the greatest serials ever brought to the silver screen, delivering 15 thrilling chapters of action and suspense from Columbia Pictures. With the handsome Kirk Alyn as Clark Kent/Superman and the lovely Noel Neill as Lois Lane, the serial also introduced Lyle Talbot as the villainous Lex Luthor, who adopts the masked persona of Atom Man to unleash chaos upon Metropolis. Among his deadly weapons is "The Empty Doom," which any Superman fan will recognize as a precursor to the Phantom Zone. As Superman battles Kryptonite-based attacks and Luthor's sinister schemes, Clark Kent continues his work at the Daily Planet, aided by Lois and Jimmy Olsen (Tommy Bond). Featuring early special effects that brought Superman's powers to life, Atom Man vs. Superman remains a beloved chapter in the Man of Steel's cinematic history, influencing future superhero adaptations. Offered here is an original release one sheet for Chapter 5 of the serial, "Atom Man Tricks Superman," which has benefitted from light airbrushing and touchup being applied sparingly throughout to address fold wear, pinholes, creases, small fold/crossfold separation, slight chips, and significant tears. Additionally, toning remains somewhat visible and the linen has been trimmed to the borders.
