A Chump at Oxford (United Artists, late 1940s). First Post-War Belgian (11" X 17").
Stan Laurel and Oliver Hardy star as street sweepers trying to better their lot in life by attending night school. Fate intervenes and the boys are furnished with an all-expenses-paid education to Oxford University, where hilarity ensues. This wonderful Belgian poster has some of the best artwork we've seen associated with this title. Due to paper shortages after the war, this poster was printed on the back of a recycled map. Condition issues include ink, crayon, and tape in the imprint area, light wrinkles in the borders, a small piece of tape and a tax stamp on the reverse. Fine/Very Fine.
