Rain (Atlantic Releasing Corporation, R-1937). Half Sheets (2) (22" X 28").
Joan Crawford is a prostitute who finds redemption thanks to dedicated missionary man Walter Huston, in Lewis Milestone's screen adaptation of W. Somerset Maugham's story. Both styles of the half sheets offered feature terrific images of Crawford. The poster with the red background has a dust shadow at the upper edge, minor tears on the left edge, a slightly larger tear on the left edge with tape on the verso, surface scratches in the lower image and credits, a tape stain in the lower left corner, and small lifts in the lower corners. The poster with the yellow background has tape stains in the left corners, and a black pen mark in Crawford's neck. Both styles have pinholes in the corners. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
