Description

Arsenic and Old Lace (Warner Brothers, 1944). Lobby Card (11" X 14").
The top prize of the set, this lobby card features a helpless Cary Grant as he watches brother Raymond Massey and his henchman Peter Lorre toast each other with poisoned elderberry wine. Frank Capra directs this comedic gem, with Grant as drama critic Mortimer Bruster, a man who discovers that his two pious old aunts, Martha and Abby, have a nasty habit of killing lonely old men and burying them in the cellar, with the aid of their bugle-blowing nephew, Teddy (who thinks he's Teddy Roosevelt). There are pinholes in the borders, a top right corner bend, and a gouge in the left border. Fine/Very Fine.
