The Astounding She Monster (American International, 1958). MP Graded Poster (30" X 40").
Many of the science-fiction films of the 1950s had been produced on shoe-string budgets, but it may not have been possible to make one for less than The Astounding She Monster. That being said, the producers knew they would capture their audience, not with the film, but with this amazing poster. To this day, posters for The Astounding She Monster are considered among the best of the era due to the depiction of an overtly sexy alien. One of the rarest formats of posters to survive, this 30" x 40" is only the second example we've seen. The poster is rolled, and shows several cracks in the image. There is a twelve inch tear in the top going through the title that has been repaired with tape on the verso. Also, tiny edge tears and smudges can be detected throughout, and the upper left corner has several pinholes. Rolled, MP Graded Very Good .
