Raymond Chandler's legendary detective Philip Marlowe is being played for a sucker by several characters, leading to lies, bribery, and murder, in this top-notch film noir. Dick Powell is terrific as Marlowe, with Claire Trevor, Otto Kruger, Anne Shirley, and Mike Mazurki rounding out the cast. This Style B half sheet has been professionally restored to address a few pinholes, fold wear, pinpoint cross fold separation, and a tiny nick in the top border. The Style A version is also being offered in the July Signature Auction. Very Fine on Linen.
