Some Like It Hot (United Artists, 1959). Poster (30" X 40") Style Y.
Although she had a relatively short screen career, Marilyn Monroe still managed to make some of the most memorable films of the 1950s and in the process become one of the greatest icons of the silver screen. And of all her films, this may be her most well known and most beloved. Billy Wilder's masterpiece has been declared one of the greatest comedies ever made and featured Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon as two musicians who hide from mobsters after witnessing a murder. The only catch was they hid out in an all-girl band and had to play the gender-swapping roles. The 30 X 40s are amongst the rarest of all poster formats and this is only the second time Heritage has offered this poster. The poster was cleaned and reinforcement was used to support some tears in the edges. There was also a chip in the upper portion of the left edge and the borders and white areas of the poster have had some light air-brushing. Rolled, Fine/Very Fine.
