Billy Wilder's take on Hollywood is recognized as one of the top ten best dramas about the "dark side" of moviedom. Gloria Swanson brilliantly plays Norma Desmond, aging movie star cruelly referred to as a "has-been," who shuts herself up in her lonely mansion and dreams of her bygone days of glory. William Holden accidentally stumbles across her and the two become entangled in a desperate love-hate relationship that ends in tragedy. This is the starkly designed "B" style poster for this classic. Touchup has been applied to address pinholes in the corners, small crossfold chips, and a chip in the fold on the right border.
