Reckless (MGM, 1935). Window Card (14" X 22").
This is a grand two-hankie film noted for not pulling any punches in depicting the bad decisions people make in life with real happiness just in front of them. A viewing today with what we all know of Jean Harlow and her relationships with co-star William Powell, and the tragic marriage to Paul Bern, make it all the more intriguing and poignant. The magical personal chemistry between Harlow and Powell has spilled onto this elusive window card. Harlow shines in her dance pose on the right of the card with a décolletage as low as it could go by 1935. A high grade for an impossible to find piece. There are only small tackholes in the top imprint area, and small creases in the title and corners. Fine/Very Fine.
