James Montgomery Flagg's first Uncle Sam sternly encouraged young men to enlist in the armed forces during World War I and World War II. This version, somewhat gentler in expression and pose, reminds those at home to follow seven important steps to keep inflation at bay during the war. An unrestored poster with bright color and a clean overall appearance. It may have general signs of use, such as light edge and fold wear, soft creases, pinpoint crossfold separation, minute fold separation and corner bends, a few tiny tears along the borders, faint staining along the bottom border, or subtle image ghosting.
