Sitting Bull (United Artists, 1954). Italian 2 - Foglio (39" X 53.5").
One of Hollywood's more historically accurate depictions of the Battle of Little Big Horn, this Western stars Iron Eyes Cody (Crazy Horse), J. Carrol Naish (Sitting Bull), John Hamilton (President Grant), Mary Murphy (Kathy Howell), Dale Robertson (Major Bob Parrish), and John Litel (Gen. Wilford Howell). This rare Italian 2-foglio features art by De Amicis. There are tax stamps in the top left background, scattered pinholes, edge wear with small tears, a pencil mark in the title, tears in the bottom section/tilted area with tape on the verso, fold wear with tape on the front, crayon marks on the verso, and chips in the bottom and right border with tape on the verso. A striking poster, professional restoration could easily correct any imperfections and return the piece to display-ready condition. Folded, Fine-.
