The King of Kings (Pathé, 1927). One Sheet (27" X 41").
Cecil B. DeMille's religious epic, The King of Kings was the inspiration for the heart-rending stone litho image on this beautiful one sheet. Young Mark (Micky Moore) leads a little blind girl (Muriel McCormac) to visit Jesus. This is an important scene in the film, as the audience sees Jesus for the first time from the point of view of the little blind girl as her sight is restored. Professional restoration has the piece displaying very well, after touchup was applied to folds, chips and tears in the bottom and top border, and in DeMille's name. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
