Western Magazine Lot (Various, 1950-1963). Magazines (2) (Multiple Pages) (8.75" X 11"). Miscellaneous.
Great lot of two fun film magazines. The first is Screen Western (Spring, 1950). Some water damage to the cover, but inside there are 100 pages of articles about upcoming films and photos of all the top western stars of that era...Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, Whip Wilson, Joel McCrea, Errol Flynn in Dodge City, etc. The second is an issue of Screen Thrills (January, 1963), a magazine about the golden age of Hollywood with super photos and articles on a history of Laurel and Hardy, "serial queens," fun scientific props used in films of the 1930s and 1940s, "Superman" films, and an in depth article with photos on the "new" Tarzan, Jock Mahoney. .Unrestored magazines with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. They may have edge wear with small tears, slight paper loss, water stains on the cover of one issue, and/or some spine wear. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Fine+.
