Offered here is a vintage pressbook and periodical lot spanning over two decades of cinema history. Included is a pressbook for Broken Chains (Goldwyn, 1922) and periodicals for The Citadel (MGM, 1938), Men with Wings (Paramount, 1938), and Of Human Hearts (MGM, 1938). Rounding out the collection are industry publications-Boxoffice (Central Edition, April 1948) and Dynamo (September 1949). A fascinating assortment that captures the promotional and editorial side of classic Hollywood. Unrestored lot display signs of use. May include edge and handling wear, toning, chips, tears, pinholes, foxing, spot staining, crossfold separation, spine separation, folding, significant lifts, creasing, and unobtrusive smudging. Pressbook for Broken Chains shows the majority of the wear.
