Description

East of Eden (Warner Brothers, 1955). Italian 4-Folio (55" X 78"). This was the debut film that brought James Dean to the attention of the world, and was the only film that was released while he was still living. The screenplay was based on the final portion of John Steinbeck's great novel of the same name. This Italian 4-folio has corner and edge chips, tack holes and tears along the edge, and fold wear with separations. There are a few ink marks on Raymond Massey's credit. The poster has been professionally restored and mounted on linen, and has a very clean appearance. The great Italian poster artist Martinati did the beautiful artwork of Dean in the full golden flower of youth. Fine on Linen.
