Bring 'Em Back Alive (RKO, 1932). Fine on Linen. One Sheet (27" X 41") Glenn Cravath Artwork.
This vivid stone litho one sheet for Bring 'Em Back Alive, Frank Buck's first film, captures the spirit of adventure with its striking image of a tiger and panther locked in combat. Buck, hailed as the ultimate "animal guy" of the 1930s, thrilled audiences with his daring exploits - so legendary they included a bare-handed fight with an orangutan - and his motto, "Bring 'Em Back Alive," became a cultural touchstone. Beyond film, his career spanned a hit serial, a celebrated animal exhibition at the 1933 Chicago World's Fair, a stint with Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and a best-selling 1941 book, making this poster a striking artifact of both cinematic and zoological history. Airbrushing, touchup, and some replacement has restored edge and fold wear, creases, minor misfolds, significant tears, and various chips/chipping. Owing to these efforts, it now presents gorgeously.
