Neil O'Brien: Great American Super-Minstrels (1910s). Fine+ on Linen. One Sheet (28" X 40.5"). Advertising. Cornelius J. O'Brien, professionally known as Neil O'Brien, was a vaudeville entertainer and Minstrel show performer who worked closely with Lew Dockstader before establishing the Neil O'Brien Minstrel Company in 1913. This stone lithograph one sheet promotes O'Brien's touring productions, which ran from 1912 to 1925. A restored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. Noticeable replacement has addressed a few small to moderate chips along the borders. The rest of the poster remains unrestored, apart from linen-backing, and displays edge wear, creases, smudges and scuffs, several tears, and stains. Grades on all restored items are pre-restoration grades.
