The Asphalt Jungle put her on the map. Gentleman Prefer Blondes made her a star. But The Seven Year Itch made Marilyn Monroe an icon. This head-turning daybill features one of the most memorable images of Monroe ever put to paper, as she stands over a subway grate in her unforgettable dress designed by Bill Travilla, the air below playfully lifting her skirt. Tom Ewell can only stand there and watch and dream, as does the star-struck audience. The poster has a chip in the bottom left corner, tack holes with dust shadows in the corners, toning, very small spots in the background and a tiny spot under Monroe's nose. Few of the daybill format have been presented by Heritage, and this one is in highly presentable condition. Folded, Very Fine-.
