The Hound Of The Baskervilles (20th Century Fox, 1939). One Sheet (27" X 41").
This is the film that started it all! The first of the fourteen Sherlock Holmes movies made with Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce and established Rathbone as the definitive Sherlock Holmes and Bruce as Dr. Watson. Based directly upon the story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, this version is considered to be the finest of the several filmed adaptations and is incidentally, one of only two of the Rathbone/Holmes films which take place in the period in which the stories were written. This is the first time we have ever offered this magnificent stone litho poster and it is in superb condition. The only problem we could detect before the poster was put onto linen to stabilize it was a small torn pinhole in the top right of the art. Get this beautiful poster while you can as we are unlikely to see another example anytime soon. Very Fine+ on Linen.

I just wanted to take a quick minute to let you and your boss know how very much I enjoyed working with you and Heritage. When I started this process, I had no idea what I was doing- it was like learning a foreign language!
