Description:
World War II Propaganda (U.S. Government Printing Office, 1942). Poster (14" X 20"). OWI Poster No. 14. "Remember December 7th!" War.
This incredibly striking image shows a tattered American flag still proudly flying in front of columns of smoke. It urges the viewer to remember December 7th, and informs them that those whose lives were lost that day will not have died in vain. An unrestored poster with good color and an overall very presentable appearance. It may have tears, slight paper loss, minor stains, and/or some fold separation. There is a 5.5" tear in the bottom fold, paper lifts and tape stains on the top and bottom. Archival tape on verso. Artwork by Allen Saalburg. Please see full-color, enlargeable image below for more details. Folded, Fine.
