Description

Night Tide (American International, 1963). One Sheet (27" X 41") Style A.
Dennis Hopper stars in this moody and atmospheric story of a sailor (Hopper) who falls in love with a girl who believes she is a descendant of mermaids and performs as such in a circus sideshow. Mora (the Mermaid Girl) can't commit to the relationship with the sailor as she fears the legends about mermaids are true; that she must lure a sailor to his death. And when a series of murders begin to occur, she believes more than ever that her destiny has been foretold. The posters for this low budget but atmospheric film use truly amazing designs and this one sheet doesn't disappoint. The poster has pinholes in the corners, a staple pull in the upper left corner, a tear in the upper right corner that has been repaired on the verso with tape, and creases on the other corners. Fine.
