Description

Freaks (Excelsior, R-1949). One Sheet (27" X 41").
This film, which used real circus sideshow "freaks" in its cast, was considered so horrific when it was originally released in 1932, that MGM quickly pulled the film from distribution and spent the next 30 years distancing themselves as far from the project as possible. Given the film's controversial nature, material for this classic horror picture is exceedingly scarce and in constant demand. This Dwayne Esper 1940s re-release one sheet is an excellent alternative. The piece shows smudging in the background, edge wear with tears, fold wear and cross fold separation. Fine+.
