A remake of the popular 1918 melodrama based off of John William Locke's popular novel, Mary Philbin takes over Mary Pickford's role as the film's dual protagonists, a performance that requires a great deal of versatility. This 1925 version is especially notable for its masterful use of split-screen and double-exposure techniques to create more realistic on-screen interactions between Philbin's two characters. This lovely stone litho one sheet features a beautiful image of Philbin, the first of any paper Heritage has offered from this silent drama. The poster shows pinpoint crossfold separations, slight fold wear with minor fold separations, pinholes and a few small tears in the borders, and corner bends. There is mild surface rippling in the borders and interior. Folded, Very Fine-.
