Description

Baby Face (Warner Brothers, 1933). One Sheet (27" X 41").
One of the most controversial of the 1930s "pre-Code" films, Baby Face was severely censored in much of the country due to its overtly sexual themes. Only recently was an uncut print of the film rediscovered. Barbara Stanwyck delivers a tour de force performance as Lily Powers, a woman determined to make it to "the top" by any means. George Brent, Donald Cook, and a very young John Wayne co-star. The one sheet for this classic film has proved to be most elusive for many, many years, so we are pleased to be able to offer another beautiful example, with its rich, vibrant colors. Prior to the excellent restoration, there was some fold wear with an extra horizontal crease toward the bottom, and a tear on the left side near the fold. Very Fine- on Linen.
