In one of her earliest starring roles, Joan Bennett plays a country club debutante who is wooed by two men, Jason Robards (Sr.) and Regis Toomey. When their bickering finally exasperate her, she is rescued by a third suitor, Kenneth MacKenna. Bennett, along with her sister Constance, would have a successful acting career throughout the 1930s, but it is as a dark-haired femme fatale in several 1940s film noirs, that she is best remembered. This rare and gorgeous stone litho one sheet, depicting Bennett in a tennis match, has been professionally restored to address small tack holes in the green background, and a tear in the left border. It is now is excellent condition and is a fun early image of the legendary leading lady. Fine/Very Fine on Linen.
